Planning, Preparation and Passion – Leslie Hossack

For retirement, some people might be drawn to swinging a golf club or volunteering. This episode’s guest picked-up a camera and started her next chapter in life as a fine art photographer.

Drawn to iconic structures associated with major events of the last century, award winning photographer Leslie Hossack plans, prepares and has passion for taking pictures of public spaces, changing communities and familiar items from previous generations.

She considers her photographs to be interpretive, not documentary. Her intention is to reveal what she imagines the architect originally designed. With patience and PhotoShop, Leslie painstakingly removes the chaos and clutter of contemporary life, as if to take them back to the drawing board.

Join us as we discuss Leslie’s inspirations, her work and her chosen path in retirement.
